Aji Cirel Very productive Capsicum frutescens variety from Venezuela.
The hot pods mature from a light green coloring to orange and finally dark red. You know they are mature when you slightly press the pod and it drops off from the stem.
It´s a good alternative to tabasco since it matures earlier and has a better crop.
Due to the huge amount of seeds it is recommended to cook the pods until tender and then pass them through a filter.
