Brown Jalapeño Brown Jalapeño variety with variable heat that has been detected by a German cultivator.
While my first culture (2015) only reached a low heat, all pods of the following generation (2016) were providing estimated 8000 SCU or more. Supposedly it's a hybrid with an unknown partner. Very early and good cropping variety with large pods that turn mohagony when fully ripened. Fruity pepper flavor and well suited for stuffing. ...large picture of pods

Early Jalapeño Said to be an early Jalapeño variety, that is well suited for cultivation in regions with a short vegetation period.
From our experience (subtropical location), we can state that it´s somewhat earlier than other Jalapeños. Small plants give good crops of thick walled pods that have low heat.
