Achard

Achard is a Capsicum baccatum v. pendulum of unknown origin. Its large plants produce pods of approximately 3x9cm in size and medium heat, being the heat mainly localized in the placenta. By removing the seeds and placenta, you get a relatively mild, sweet chili for all sorts of dishes.
