Chinese Ornamental

Chinese Ornamental is a small, richly branched and bushy ornamental variety. It produces hundreds of very small hot pods. Due to its compact growth, it’s the perfect variety for a small growing cultivation area. Their pods sit tight at their stems, which is why they can easily be tied up into small ristras. This is a traditional way of drying where chilies are hung on long strings. A real eye-catcher in restaurants, but of course also in private use.
