Chupetinho

Chupetinho is a Capsicum chinense from Brazil, which is also called Pimenta Biquinho (Biquinho = Portuguese: small beak). It corresponds to the accessions PI 441634 (ARS-GRIN Germplasm) and BGH 4200 (Banco de Germoplasma de Hortaliças, Brazil). Chupetinho is a very productive variety that provides lots of pods with a low heat. In Brazil it is often pickled, but also used in fish and meat dishes or as salsa. A real all-rounder in the kitchen!
