Fidalgo Roxa

This rare and beautiful Capsicum chinense comes from Brazil and is certainly one of the most visually attractive chili varieties of all. When their plants with dark green leaves and branches are covered all over with ripe pods, these look like little colorful candles on a tree. The acorn-shaped pods ripen from dark blue to a salmon red. The variety is quite similar to CGN 21500, but the pods are elongated. They’re very hot and have the typical Brazilian Cheiro flavor.
