Fushimi

Fushimi is a mild Capsicum annuum from Japan that develops very interesting, conical pods. Due to its excellent flavor with a slightly sweet note and its crunchy texture, this variety is often used in Asian cuisine. It’s usually cropped and processed while still green, as it uses to have the best flavor at this development stage. If you let them ripe on the plant, they turn dark red.
