Heinz 1439 VFA

Heinz 1439 VFA is a tomato from the breeding program of H. J. Heinz Co. in the USA. This very productive bush tomato was primarily created to make the famous tomato ketchup. The variety is of course also ideal for preparing any other type of tomato sauce. The fruits weigh up to 4.5oz, ripen evenly, are deep red and very juicy. They’re also said to be resistant to leaf blight. An excellent product that should not be missing from any vegetable garden.
