Price excl. shipping costsThis hot and beautiful Jalapeño-type Capsicum annuum comes from the NuMex series of the Chile Pepper Institute in New Mexico, USA. Their bright orange, thick-walled pods are around 1-2.5in in size. They’re quite hot for a jalapeño (usually over 70,000 SHU). If you remove the inner tissue of the pods (placenta) together with the seeds, the heat can be reduced significantly. NuMex Orange Spice has a fruity flavor that fully develops when fully ripe.
