NuMex Sandia

NuMex Sandia is a very popular and mild jalapeño developed by the Chile Pepper Institute in New Mexico, USA. The bright red coloring of their pods in fact makes them look a bit like a watermelon (Sandia = Spanish: watermelon). The plants of this Capsicum annuum are very productive. They develop high yields of crunchy, aromatic, elongated pods that can be used in many culinary ways.
