Rocoto Arequipa Giant

Rocoto Arequipa Giant is the largest red rocoto in the world. The Semillas team imported the original seeds from the Peruvian city Arequipa in 2016. In order for the plants of this Capsicum pubescens to develop well, they need a lot of substrate – containers should be of at least 25 liters (6.6 gal). The large, round, mild pods are ideal for producing the famous Rocoto Relleno (filled Rocoto). For a reason, it’s one of the most popular Rocotos among Semillas customers.
