Stavros

Stavros is a fantastic Greek pepperoncini specialty. The pods of this Capsicum annuum don’t develop any heat, but are very spicy. In Greece these are pickled or grilled, especially when they’re still unripe and green. But they’re also very suitable for topping pizza. When fully ripe the pods are red.
