Trepadeira do Werner

Trepadeira do Werner is a very productive Capsicum baccatum described by Werner Mathi. The name trepadeira (= Portuguese: climbing plant) is a bit misleading. It’s actually a very vigorous variety that can grow over 6.5ft high over the course of a season. Its thick-walled pods are juicy and develop an excellent, fruity and berry-like and full-bodied flavor. The medium-hot pods are very suitable for stuffing with cheese.
