Trinidad Scorpion Butch Taylor is the Guinness World Record holder for heat from 2011. It was named after the chilihead Butch Taylor from the USA. The path of this variety is not entirely clear. The seeds from Butch Taylor’s Trinidad Scorpion hybrid may have reached Australia and been further developed there to become a world record holder. The fruity, sweet aromas of this Capsicum chinense don’t last long because its brutal heat sets in very quickly. A real treat for fans of the Superhots.
