Valenciano (= Spanish: coming from Valencia) is an old country variety from southern Spain. The name was given to several varieties there. This is a bush tomato that provides high yields of medium-sized fruits with a small beak. This one is also known as tomato Valenciano masclet. In Valencia, fireworks are called masclet and are used in the famous Mascletà, a fireworks spectacle. Their tomatoes are very juicy and have only few seeds, making them particularly suitable for tomato sauces, soups or juices.
