Rocoto Big Brown

Rocoto Big Brown is a brown apple-shaped Rocoto. Its vigorous plants produce beautiful purple flowers with white stripes. They should be pruned early, once or twice, so that they grow compactly and provide large yields. “Big” is referring to the size, compared with other brown Rocotos. Compared to the large yellow and red rocotos, the pods of the Big Brown are rather medium in size. They’re also thick-walled and juicy and develop an excellent rocoto flavor, togehter with an impressive heat.
