Thunder Mountain Longhorn

Thunder Mountain Longhorn is a very popular Capsicum annuum from the Guizhou Province of China. This region is home to Mount Leigong, which translates to God of Thunder, and which gave this variety its name. Their vigorous plants produce extremely long and thin red pods with a wrinkled surface and low heat. In traditional Chinese cuisine, the pods are dried and smoked and then processed into a smokey powder or sauces.
